M-PINGE 200
Latex Vapor Impingement Presolve
Many variables make this material one of the hardest to clean. There are many types, but for this discussion, let’s concentrate on the most common and difficult to clean – SBR latex (Styrene Butadiene Resin). It is a bear to remove by conventional means, but with a specially designed John-Henry procedure, along with M-PINGE 200® vapor impingement pre-solve, you won’t waste valuable time on a wash bay. Latex is a lattice, and penetrating it with a powerful solvent will destroy its elastomeric properties. This can be accomplished at a heating station, away from your wash bays. Once the vapor impingement phase is complete, the tank is taken to the wash rack for a normal, short-duration latex wash. For best results, see Standard Operating Procedures.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
M-PINGE 200 is a next generation cleaner and latex pre-solve which utilizes vapor impingement as a means of preparing for the actual wash. Once treated with the M-PINGE 200, the softened latex can be removed with a simple detergent wash via spinner. Does not contain chlorinated solvents or petroleum hydrocarbons. When undiluted with water, M-PINGE 200 may be reused indefinitely.

USES AND DIRECTION
Use M-PINGE 200 for the effective softening of all types of latex, including natural rubber. May also be used for softening other materials, including crosslinked polymer systems, non-crosslinked, such as varnish and lacquer, polyurethanes, and fiberglass resins.
LATEX: Use as is. With rear discharge valve closed, add 15 gallons of M-PINGE 200 to tank via manway. Close dome lid, but do not tighten down. Apply steam to tank’s coils for minimum 2 hours, up to 6 hours when latex is very dense.
When finished heating, turn off steam and allow tank to cool. Drain/capture for reuse. Normally, 80% of fluid is returned.
OTHER MATERIALS: M-PINGE 200 may be applied via John-Henry Simplicity Fogger or other spraying device. Unlike for latex removal, the product will be “spent” when used.
